We invite you to join us today by becoming a South Dakota Hall of Fame Member. Together, we will preserve for generations to come the legacy of all those who have helped shape the landscape of South Dakota Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization which exists on funds generated through annual gifts, grants, sponsorships, honorariums, capital campaign gifts and endowment gifts.

How you can help:
Direct Gift - Every dollar immediately goes toward supporting our mission of recognizing and honoring pioneers and leaders of our state.
$10 minimum
Membership – There are four levels of annual membership:
Supporter $500 - $999
Founder $1,000 - $2,499
Ancestry $2,500 - $9,999
Heritage $10,000 - $24,999
Legacy $25,000 - Above
Endowment – A growing Endowment Fund at the Hall of Fame can ensure a flourishing future. Income for operations can be supplemented by the interest from endowment gifts. The Endowment Fund, established in 1991, is managed by the South Dakota Community Foundation located in Pierre, South Dakota.
Sponsorship – The Hall of Fame offers donors the opportunity to sponsor gallery areas, display panels, exhibit cases, interactive units, and exhibit areas. These named spaces require gifts ranging from $1,000 to $75,000. Such gifts can be a onetime payment or an installment payment, beginning with 25% down, over three or more years. These opportunities to be remembered personally or to honor others are limited. A complete list of sponsorships still available can be obtained by contacting the South Dakota Hall of Fame office.
Honorarium – An Honorarium can be an Honoree’s expression of gratitude for the recognition he/she has received, or it can be a tribute to a friend or family member. Or, more commonly, family members cooperate to recognize the honoree. Once gifts totaling $25,000 are received, an Honorarium is established in the person’s name, and a plaque of commemoration will be displayed.
Planned Giving – More and more people are making provisions in their estates to continue support of their lifetime interests after death. Naming the South Dakota Hall of Fame in your will is one way to “share a legacy.”
